NAVIS Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Neurodiverse Technologies, Inc. collects, uses, discloses, retains, and protects information when you use NAVIS.

Effective October 1, 2026 iOS, iPadOS and web services Neurodiverse Technologies, Inc.
Our privacy commitment

NAVIS is designed to support interview readiness, including for neurodivergent and disabled users. We do not sell interview responses, disability information, health information, eye-gaze information, heart-rate information, or other sensitive NAVIS user information. NAVIS is not a diagnostic tool, and its scores are not employment decisions.

1. Who We Are and Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how Neurodiverse Technologies, Inc. (“Neurodiverse Technologies,” “NTs,” “NAVIS,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, retains, and protects information when you use the NAVIS mobile application, websites, interview-practice services, administrative portals, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).

NAVIS is an interview-readiness and practice platform. It uses artificial intelligence and automated analysis to conduct practice interviews, adapt follow-up questions, analyze responses, and provide practice-oriented feedback and readiness information.

2. Our Neurodivergence and Disability Privacy Principles

  • You do not need to disclose an autism diagnosis, disability, medical condition, or accommodation need to use ordinary NAVIS interview-practice features.
  • NAVIS is not intended to diagnose autism, anxiety, ADHD, disability, mental-health conditions, personality, honesty, intelligence, or any medical condition.
  • We do not sell disability, neurodivergence, health, eye-gaze, heart-rate, or interview-response information.
  • We do not use disability or health information for targeted advertising.
  • NAVIS practice scores and feedback do not determine whether a person is employable or qualified for a job.
  • We do not intend to penalize users for neurodivergent communication characteristics, including reduced eye contact, atypical prosody, different response timing, or other differences that may reflect disability or neurotype rather than job capability.
  • Optional sensor or health-related features are not required for the core interview-practice experience unless clearly disclosed for a particular feature.

3. Information We Collect

Account and contact information

We may collect your name, email address, telephone number, authentication information, contact preferences, organization or business affiliation, and account settings.

Professional and career information

We may collect target roles, job descriptions, career interests, work-related preferences, interview selections, employment-related information you choose to provide, and information used to personalize interview practice.

Interview content and performance information

We may process spoken or typed responses, transcripts, answer content, question history, adaptive follow-up paths, scores, practice metrics, feedback, progress, and other information generated through the interview experience.

Audio, video, camera, microphone and eye-gaze information

When you enable camera or microphone features, NAVIS may process and store audio, video, facial-region or gaze-related signals, speaking pace, pauses, response timing, and similar information for interview practice and feedback. Raw interview audio and video may be retained for up to 90 days after the interview unless deletion is requested earlier or longer retention is required by law.

Eye-gaze information is not treated as a medical diagnosis or a definitive measure of employability.

Apple Watch, HealthKit and sensor information

If NAVIS offers optional Apple Watch, HealthKit, heart-rate, or sensor features, we request permission only for the data types needed for the feature. We do not use HealthKit or health-related information for advertising or unrelated marketing, and we do not sell it.

Device, usage and diagnostic information

We may collect device type, operating-system version, app version, identifiers, IP address, timestamps, crash data, performance data, security logs, feature interactions, and usage events reasonably needed to operate, secure and improve NAVIS.

Payments and transactions

Payments may be processed by Apple or another authorized payment provider. We may receive purchase status, purchase identifiers, entitlements, billing-related records, and information needed to administer access. We do not receive full payment-card numbers when a payment provider processes them directly.

Information you voluntarily disclose

Interview answers may contain information you choose to disclose about disability, neurodivergence, health, education, employment, family circumstances, or other personal matters. Please avoid sharing information that is not needed for interview practice.

Information from organizations

If you access NAVIS through a school, university, vocational rehabilitation provider, nonprofit, employer, workforce program, or other organization, that organization may provide account, eligibility, assignment, role, or administrative information about you.

4. How We Use Information

  • Create and administer accounts and authenticate users.
  • Deliver interviews, adaptive questions, scoring, feedback, progress tracking, and recommended resources.
  • Personalize interview scenarios and job-specific practice.
  • Operate enabled camera, microphone, eye-gaze, wearable, and sensor features.
  • Process purchases, credits, subscriptions, entitlements, refunds, and re-attempts.
  • Provide support and respond to user requests.
  • Send transactional, security, administrative, and permitted marketing communications.
  • Detect abuse, fraud, security incidents, technical failures, and violations of our Terms.
  • Improve product performance, accessibility, reliability, and user experience.
  • Create aggregated or de-identified information for analytics, product improvement, research, and service planning where permitted.
  • Comply with legal obligations and protect legal rights.

5. Artificial Intelligence and Automated Analysis

NAVIS uses artificial intelligence and automated analysis to select or generate practice questions, interpret response content, identify response characteristics, produce practice scores, create feedback, and recommend areas for improvement.

  • AI outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or dependent on context and should be treated as practice guidance rather than objective facts about a person.
  • NAVIS does not make autonomous hiring, firing, promotion, compensation, or other employment decisions for employers.
  • Information may be processed by service providers that support cloud hosting, artificial intelligence, speech processing, transcription, analytics, security, authentication, communications, and app functionality.
  • We require service providers to process NAVIS information only to provide contracted services and subject to appropriate privacy, confidentiality, and security obligations.
  • We do not authorize providers to use NAVIS customer content for their own unrelated advertising or marketing.

6. Sensitive Information and Inferences

NAVIS may process sensitive information depending on the feature and jurisdiction, including disability-related statements, health-related information, audio, video, gaze-related signals, and employment information.

We do not use interview behavior to infer or label a user’s autism status, medical diagnosis, mental-health condition, race, religion, sexual orientation, political beliefs, or other protected characteristic.

7. How We Disclose Information

We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to:

  • Cloud, AI, speech, transcription, analytics, crash-reporting, communications, authentication, payment, and security providers supporting NAVIS.
  • Organizations through which you receive NAVIS access, consistent with your account configuration, applicable notices, permissions, and agreements.
  • Professional advisers, auditors, insurers, investors, acquirers, or transaction participants subject to confidentiality or legal safeguards.
  • Authorities, courts, regulators, or other parties when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, and security.

We do not sell personal information for monetary consideration. If a future practice constitutes a “sale,” “sharing,” or targeted-advertising disclosure under applicable law, we will provide the legally required notice and choices.

8. Organizational and Institutional Accounts

Schools, universities, vocational rehabilitation programs, nonprofits, workforce programs, employers, and other organizations may provide NAVIS access.

Depending on the program and applicable agreement, an organization may see account status, assigned interviews, completion, progress, scores, or other information disclosed at enrollment. Raw recordings, sensitive sensor data, disability information, and health information are not made available to an organization by default unless the feature, agreement, user notice, permissions, and applicable law specifically support that access.

9. Children and Minors

NAVIS is not directed to children under 13 unless NTs has intentionally established a compliant program with appropriate parental, school, or other legally valid authorization.

If NAVIS is offered to users under 18, we apply age-appropriate notices and safeguards and address applicable parental-consent, educational-record, contractual-capacity, and state-law requirements.

10. Data Retention

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide and secure NAVIS, maintain user progress, meet contractual commitments, resolve disputes, comply with law, and protect legal rights.

Information category Standard retention period
Raw interview audio and video Up to 90 days after the interview
Interview transcripts and responses While the NAVIS account remains active
Scores, feedback and progress history While the NAVIS account remains active
Information associated with a deleted account Deleted or de-identified within 30 days, subject to legally permitted exceptions
Backup copies following deletion Removed through normal backup rotation within 90 days
Technical and security logs Up to 12 months
Support and feedback records Up to 3 years
Payment and transaction records Up to 7 years when required for accounting, tax, contractual, fraud-prevention, or legal purposes

We may retain information longer when required by law, necessary to resolve disputes or security incidents, or subject to a valid preservation obligation. When information is no longer needed, we delete, de-identify, or otherwise dispose of it appropriately.

11. Your Choices and Controls

  • Camera, microphone, notifications, Bluetooth, HealthKit, and other device permissions can be managed through device settings.
  • Optional sensor or wearable features may be declined or disabled unless required for a clearly identified optional service.
  • Marketing emails may be unsubscribed from through the mechanism in the message.
  • Account settings may allow you to review or update certain account information.
  • Users may initiate account deletion through NAVIS where required by Apple or applicable law.

12. Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of certain personal information; to opt out of certain processing; to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent; and to appeal certain privacy-request decisions.

To submit a privacy request, email [email protected] . We may need to verify your identity before completing the request.

13. Account Deletion

Users may initiate account deletion through NAVIS where required. Deleting an account removes or de-identifies associated personal information according to the retention schedule above, subject to records we are permitted or required to retain for legal, security, fraud-prevention, transaction, dispute-resolution, or other legitimate purposes.

Deleting the NAVIS application from a device does not by itself delete the user’s NAVIS account.

14. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information appropriate to the nature of the information and the risks involved. No transmission or storage system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

15. International and Interstate Processing

NAVIS and its service providers may process information in the United States and other locations where providers operate. When legally required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.

16. De-Identified and Aggregated Information

We may create aggregated or de-identified information that is not reasonably intended to identify an individual and use it for product improvement, research, accessibility analysis, service planning, benchmarking, and other lawful purposes.

Where required by law, we maintain de-identified information in de-identified form and do not attempt to re-identify it except where legally permitted to test or validate de-identification methods.

17. Research and Product Improvement

NAVIS may use appropriately protected information to evaluate and improve interview content, accessibility, AI quality, scoring reliability, and user experience.

We do not use identifiable or sensitive information for unrelated research or external model training without an appropriate legal basis, contractual safeguards, and additional notice or consent where required. University or partner research may be subject to separate consent, institutional review, or study documentation.

18. Third-Party Services and Links

NAVIS may interact with Apple, payment services, authentication providers, cloud services, AI providers, analytics services, communications providers, or external websites. Their independent privacy practices apply to information they collect directly from you.

19. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as NAVIS evolves or legal requirements change. We will update the effective date and provide additional notice when required. If a material change affects how we use sensitive information, we will provide any notice or obtain any consent required by law.
