NAVIS brings university research into everyday interview preparation. Its roots lie in Vanderbilt University's Career Interview Readiness in Virtual Reality (CIRVR) research, focused on interview practice for autistic individuals.
That work connects with the Frist Center for Autism and Innovation's mission to support neurodivergent talent and workforce participation. Neurodiverse Technologies is bringing this research into practical use through NAVIS.
Vanderbilt's CIRVR research includes published studies, feasibility and pilot work, and an outside-lab study. The goal: explore more individualized ways to practice for interviews.
The cited studies concern the CIRVR research platform that preceded NAVIS.
